This product is part of Jianze’s bamboo research project in collaboration with Finnish designer Ville Kokkonen. The project is dedicated to exploring various types of Chinese bamboo, with a particular focus on those that possess distinctive, beautiful appearances and outstanding structural qualities.

The frame of this side table is crafted from solid bamboo Zong Zhu (棕竹) sourced from southern China, handmade by the Yinshi craftsmen whose skills have been passed down through generations. Featuring minimalist lines paired with a clear glass tabletop, the designer seeks to highlight the natural beauty of the material itself through a restrained design language.
