In March 2021, Guangzhou, Jianze reaped significant attention and coverage from industry media such as Quarterly, INTERNI, and Rayli Home Design at Design Spring of China International Furniture Fair. The
Yǎng Chair also achieved the prestigious Red Dot Award at the day before the exhibition.
In June, Jianze made its official debut at Design Shanghai, setting up the temporary "Stage 0" to showcase a range of new products that interpret the undefinable lifestyle of Generation Z.
In December, Renowned Chinese actress Zhong Chuxi featured in the year-end cover of "Bazaar Art in" with the theme "The beauty of Carving". Jianze, as an unconventional lifestyle choice, is featured in the fashion spread for this issue.
In March 2022, Jianze's products were introduced into the first offline store of WallpaperSTORE* in Shanghai. In July, WallpaperSTORE* landed in Hangzhou, opening a pop-up store inspired by "dreams". Jianze, as one of the "protagonists" in this fantastical dream space, contributed to the interpretation of thoughts on "romance" and "dreams".
In August, the 2022 Design Shanghai collaborated with U Design Week and invited the renowned Chinese industrial designer, Chen Min, to curate a special space on-site called Design Shanghai Selection. Jianze, representing the epitome of original Chinese design excellence, was selected to participate.
In September, Jianze's YǍNG CHAIR was honoured with Chinese Creative Power of Furnishings at 2022 IDEAT Future Award.
In October, Jianze showcased at the first UHOO Art Festival, marked its appearance with the unique concept of "JOURNEY 0", this display utilised furniture and home products to showcase the relationship between art and nature.
In November, Jianze contributed to the renovation project of the ancient residence Frosome, exploring bold collisions and integrations of diverse cultures within the space. This endeavor earned Jianze the Special Contribution Award for Ancient City Revitalisation during Suzhou Design Week. The collaboration with traditional architecture, Chinese opera, and gardens led to unexpected exchanges between the past and present, revitalising the space with vitality.
In February 2023, Jianze was exhibited in Design Shenzhen with the theme of "STAND 0", drawing inspiration from daily market stalls. Home products transformed into fresh curiosities, engaging with visitors in a more relaxed and interactive display.
In March, Jianze curated "Pat-Pat Park" at the 5th Bonjour Art Book Fair in Hangzhou, featuring whimsical furniture for a joyous outing.
In April, Jianze opened its official showroom Jianze Fitting Room in Hangzhou, inviting visitors to relax and imagine in a comfortable space.
In June, Jianze exhibited at the 10th Design Shanghai 2023 in collaboration with the world-renowned designer duo YATOFU to create "Dreaming in the Garden".
In August, Jianze launched its first brand concept store in Birland, Hangzhou. Designed by YATOFU, the store adopts the concept of "terrace garden", aiming to create a refreshing, friendly, and equal casual atmosphere. Alongside hosting brand events and retail functions, the store provides visitors a relaxed and leisurely gathering experience.
In June 2024, Jianze participated in 3daysofdesign and launched five new product series—Qiáo, Palette, Pinch, Puzzle, and Rong—as well as the bamboo research project in collaboration with Ville Kokkonen, at the Lapidarium of Kings museum in Copenhagen.
