Forsome in Suzhou

Forsome is centered around Yuhantang, a 500-year-old courtyard located on Shantang Street in Suzhou. It is the largest and best-preserved residential building from the Ming Dynasty outside the ancient city of Suzhou. After a thoughtful renovation of the space, the intangible cultural heritage Kunqu Opera performance Six Records of a Floating Life was introduced into the venue.

The Blossom Sofa and 20° Coffee Table form a welcoming reception area, while the Loft Square Table, Loft Round Table, and Yǎng Chair are arranged in different rooms to serve various functions such as dining and tea service.

With its inclusive and diverse product design, Jianze acts like a bridge, subtly weaving through the everyday corners of this historic residence. It quietly connects tradition and modernity, harmoniously integrating into public spaces and daily life, evoking emotional resonance among visitors and inspiring a deeper understanding and imagination of life across time.
